Life happens. If you can no longer care for your Siberian Husky, we would rather you come to us than a kill shelter or a backyard listing.
We can take one husky at a time. Demand is far beyond what we can meet. We rescue, vet, rehabilitate and rehome one dog, see them into the right home, and only then can we open the door again — that is the honest limit of what our founder can carry with the volunteers, foster homes and donations we have right now.
We have no facility. Every rescue lives with a family, so intake depends on an open foster home — and on someone having the hours for the vetting, the medication schedule, the transport and the adoption screening that follow. Right now that is one dog’s worth of capacity.
When we are full, intake pauses. That is not a judgment on you or your dog, and it is not permanent.
The single best way to help us say yes faster — to your husky or someone else’s — is more foster homes. If you or someone you know can foster, start here. More volunteers and steadier donations move the same number.
Write to us anyway. Tell us your husky’s age, temperament, medical history, and your situation. We’ll respond as capacity allows and help you plan — even if that means pointing you to trusted partners while you wait.
